IQUITOS, PERU 〰️

our first outreach trip

Iquitos sits deep in the Amazon rainforest, reachable only by river or air—a place rich in culture, resilience, and creativity.

In July 2026, Summer’s Art Studio Foundation will travel to Iquitos to offer art classes and creative experiences for children and local communities including an all girls orphanage. Our focus is simple and intentional: to provide a gentle, welcoming introduction to art as a tool for expression, confidence, and joy.

Through hands-on painting, drawing, and collaborative projects, we aim to create a safe space where children can explore their creativity, feel encouraged, and experience the freedom that art can bring. These classes are designed specifically for this area in mind, rooted in connection—meeting children exactly where they are.

This outreach is not about imposing ideas, but about sharing creativity, learning from the community, and building meaningful human connection through art. We believe that even a few days of creative expression can leave a lasting imprint of hope, confidence, and possibility.

Iquitos is one of the first doors we are opening through art—and many more will follow.

Beyond Iquitos

Iquitos is the first place we are called to serve — but it is not the last.

Summer’s Art Studio Foundation was created with a long-term vision to bring art education, creative healing, and human connection to communities around the world. We believe creativity is a universal language.

As the foundation grows, our hope is to partner with local organizations, schools, and community leaders in other countries to offer art experiences that are respectful, collaborative, and rooted in care. Each outreach will be approached with humility, listening first, and a commitment to serve rather than impose.

If you feel impacted to help the journey offer more, all donations are appreciated.
